A little history about the item (for those who are interested!)

During the communist occupation of Czechoslovakia a huge array of beautiful and innovative pieces were designed and produced. Due to the closed door nature of communism, many of these pieces are only now being discovered and documented.

The vase being sold here is from the Borske Sklo glassworks, which was founded in 1948. It merged with a number of other well know glass factories in the 50's, including Moser and Chribska.

It is unknown who designed this piece but if you have any information please do let us know!

We hope you found the information interesting and if you have anything to add, please let us know as we are always interested to learn more.

Please feel free to get in contact to ask any questions or to find out about any other Vintage Glass items.
