I’m referring to the “chalkboard print” option of the print. In the details it said “faux chalkboard effect”, but I disagree with the end result.
I can accept artist differences, however, and I didn’t see that I had many options as the purchase is “non refundable.” (This applies apparently to items that are stock — Eg, not custom).
My main contention with this Etsy seller is the complete and total lack of a response. I tried contacting the seller 3 different times, in different mechanisms, and I never received ANY response, not even a courtesy reply. I answer my messages within 24 hours, so had there been enough time allotted for a response, I would have been happy to discuss a resolution. The item pictured is exactly what was made, and it is the buyer's responsibility to read the listing before purchasing. The item description was very clear that the print was a fine art paper with a chalkboard background. This print was made to order, not something I keep in stock, but again, the real issue lies within allowing sufficient time for a response instead of sending a series of impulsive and impolite messages, all which lie outside the boundaries of proper electronic communication etiquette.
