Boysenberry Jam Hand-Dyed Quilting Cotton Fat Quarter
Description
Beautiful variegated boysenberry jam with hints of purple, medium value, hand-dyed cotton fat quarter. I start with mercerized cotton broadcloth, a finely woven fabric made in the US. I dye the fabric in small lots, scour it in 2 hot-water washes to ensure all the excess dye that might bleed is removed and line dry. The photos show the degree of color variation that is available with this dye recipe.
I hand-dye all of my fabric using low-water techniques and do small lots. This results in a moderate to highly textured and variegated color. All fabric is pre-washed and pre-shrunk. If you would like a larger piece, please convo me. I tear down the fabric and iron it once it is ordered, so I can offer a larger piece if desired.
You can use this fabric for quilts, dolls, crazy quilts and a variety of other applications. Ships first class mail unless otherwise requested. I do combine shipping and will refund any excess postage.
