Description

Tourmaline (Liddicoatite). Thumbnail Rock and Mineral Specimen. M61040

Max Dimension: 15x 14x 9.5 mm (MILLIMETERS) [for scale, the box is 1.25" on edge (31.7 mm)]
Locality: Mt. Ibity, Madagascar

A beautiful (and quite rare) SPRAY of liddicoatite tourmaline from Madagascar. These come from a small find made in late 2015. Liddicoatite is the rare calcium-rich member of the tourmaline group-- most of the tourmaline you see from Brazil, Afghanistan, or California are a different tourmaline species-- Elbaite. Perfect for the mineral collector, enthusiast or metaphysical healer.

An attractive addition to your collection, home, or office.

**Please note, unfortunately I cannot weigh specimens that are already mounted, sorry for the inconvenience.

All specimens are accompanied by a label describing the name of the mineral and the mineral's origin.
