Large African blue rose cut opal sterling silver long pendant with hammered textured bail
I'm so excited to be making more of these pieces. This large African opal has been in my stash for quite some time and it's perfect for this pendant. The stone is an untreated and natural, milky blue African opal. It is set in a heavy sterling silver bezel with a hammer detailed bail. The bail is connected to the bezel with tiny silver "pins" created by a very hot, very small flame. The wire goes through a hole, the heat melts the wire into a ball and then it can't pull back through. This technique is called "pinning" and I love it. Check out the back too...it's got a gorgeous detail that you'll love.

At this time, I do not have photos of any earrings being modeled. It's just me in the studio and taking a photo of your own ear is harder than it sounds! I am working with a local photographer and I will soon have photos of some of my earrings on a model.
