Green soft leather binding with gilt detail to front and spine. Some rubbing and scuffing to extremities of covers and extremities of spine. Published by Dent in 1903 as part of their Temple Classics series edited by Israel Gollanz. This beautiful little book is in very good condition, with only slight age related foxing and tanning, and sunning/ discolouration to spine. Cranford is one of Gaskell's better known works and remains a classic of Victorian fiction. This edition was published in the year of Queen Victoria's death.
