Here is a 1930 First Edition of The Philosophy of Elbert Hubbard. This book includes the many teachings of Hubbard organized by topic: His Thoughts About. . . Philosophy, Life and Death, Business, Men and Women Random Thoughts on Many Topics.

During his lifetime, Hubbard was a prolific writer, upon his death, the Roycrofters lead by Hubbard's son, began to repubish the works of this creative philosophy.

This was a small volume measuring, 7 by 9.25 inches. 180 pages.

This is in exceptionally fine condition.

The book was published with the care and aesthetic sensibilities that the Roycrofters are famous for. Cloth bound and comprised of handmade paper, lovingly designed and crafted in East Aurora New York.

Hubbard was known for his wisdom, humor and his feel good sayings. "Responsibilities gravitate to the person who can shoulder them; power flows to the man who knows how". This book is full of his wisdom.

Tan boards with brown lettering and motif on cover and spine. This book is in excellent condition. The exterior shows very minor bits of wear - slight bumping to corner and edge. Tight bound pages with minor tanning natural with aging.
The paper has a rich texture that feels good to the touch.

The book has a full page portrait of Elbert Hubbard as the frontispiece and a stunning title page.

If you are not happy with any item, you can return it for a shop credit. The amount of the shop credit will be for the purchase price of the original item(s) minus shipping. The cost of return shipping is to be paid by the buyer.

Unless requested otherwise, we ship via USPS. Insurance and tracking are available upon request. If an item's value is greater than $50 we will automatically insure the object.

We ship globally. Please note that the shipping costs for overseas shipping are higher than you might expect. We reserve the right to modify the listed shipping charge to reflect the actual charges on the day of shipping.

If my estimated shipping costs are overstated, I will refund any overages greater than $5.
