This stunning serving bowl in beautiful shades of celedon blue and a rich, deep purple red color is the perfect gift for a wedding, engagement, Mother's Day, anniversary, birthday, or any occasion. It makes a wonderful table setting. Or something special for yourself!

I made this bowl on my pottery wheel out of porcelain clay, altered the shape to this organic softly curved rim and oval profile. It features an elegant foot that give this bowl stature and lift, making it a work of art as well as a functional bowl that can be used to serve food, store fruit, etc.

This serving bowl measures 5" high x 6" wide x 10" wide. I added some decorative embellishments or handles to the ends for some added interest as well as a slip-trail design on the exterior that allowed the glaze to break over it in a complementary color.

Food safe and can be used in the oven, dishwasher and microwave.

It is very difficult to gift wrap your pottery since I need to make sure it has lots of bubblewrap and peanuts surrounding it so it arrives intact. However, I am very happy to tie a ribbon around the packing material and to include a hand written card with a message from you inside the box.
