SVG is a Scalable Vector Graphic that can be used to decrease or increase the size of an image without loss of clarity. This can be used with Silhouette Studio Designer Edition V3 and Cricut Explore, as well as other software programs for cutting machines. SVG is arguably the easiest way to share cutting files that work in multiple programs.
If you accidentally bought an SVG file and cannot open it, you likely do not have the right edition of your software. While I suggest purchasing that (particularly Silhouette Studio Design Edition), you can still access the PNG that I provide, which will allow you to open it in any cutting software.
1. Make sure you are opening the SVG in your software program (unless you intend to print, in which case the PNG is fine).
2. Click on the SVG and select 'ungroup.' This is on the far right side of Cricut, and you can right-click 'ungroup' in Silhouette.
3. You can ungroup various layers of the SVG to arrange it as you'd like.
4. If this is a font/alphabet file, you can delete the letters you don't want and copy/paste the extras you might need!
I do offer custom SVGs, including custom alphabet letting/words/etc.

You can download ANY file you have bought from me here. Depending on your machine, it will either download to your downloads folder or you can right-click and save to where you'd like. I cannot continue to offer technological troubleshooting with your personal computers and training on how to download files, but I am VERY happy to offer ANY troubleshooting related to your SVG not working! Have a wonderful day!
