Gye Nyame is one of a group of symbols known as Adinkra, from Ghana and the Ivory Coast, West Africa. Gye Nyame translates to "except for god", serving as a reminder of the presence of one's chosen deities in day-to-day life.

This cotton canvas tote measures 18" x 14" x 6" with 28" handles. Best of all, this bag is reusable, washable and environmentally friendly.

The Gye Nyame symbol was hand sewn by me, from various pieces of african print fabric.

Color: Natural

Care instructions: DRY CLEAN ONLY
