Description

Print yourself a little fleet of colorful moving trucks to announce your new address.

This DIGITAL DOWNLOAD is a PDF that you can use to print as many postcards as humanly possible (for personal use only - not for resale).

The original image was handcarved on linoleum and printed by me, then digitally edited for a variety of colors. As shown in the photos, the back has an olde timey style with plenty of room for your new mailing address, the recipient's address and your own personal message.

If you'd like to personalize the address section of the PDF, do not purchase this listing. Instead, purchase the Upgrade Personalization listing here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/500966992/

Also available as a Downloadable PDF in black and white:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/509897236/
Or printed in Spring colors:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/509380988/

Materials are NOT included.

You'll need:
A printer (your own or a copy shop).
8.5x11 pieces of heavy cardstock (I recommend 100 lb or heavier, but 60-80lb will do in a pinch).
Paper trimmer, scissors, or X-acto knife and ruler.
Postcard rate stamps.

Three PDFs are provided:
>One PDF with instructions.
>One PDF with just the four postcards for an 8.5x11 piece of cardstock (as shown).
>One PDF with just the address side (as shown).

After printing and trimming, each postcard measures A2 Size: 5.25 x 4.25 inch (13.33 x 10.79 cm) and can be mailed via USPS with a postcard rate stamp.

QUICK INSTRUCTIONS:
Just select and print page 1, then select and print page 2 onto the other side of the sheet. Cut in half lengthwise, and in half again crosswise. Add your stamp, the recipient's mailing address, and a personal message if desired and send it!

The files and any materials printed from the file are for personal use only by the purchaser. The PDFs are not to be shared, distributed or resold. The printed materials are not to be resold.

FAQs

I love making custom hand-bound books! They make wonderful gifts, and most books are perfect to use as guest books, scrapbooks, sketchbooks, and journals. Customize the cover art, cover paper, page paper, or even provide your own vintage cover.

Turn around time for custom work is between 1 and 3 weeks, plus shipping time.
Most items are mailed wrapped in kraft paper, tied with raffia, ribbon, or hemp, with a gift tag. If you require something more, please let me know and I'll work with you to make it happen.
All items are one of a kind and made in a smoke-free / pet-free home with my own two hands, right here in the Green Mountains of Vermont.

The one exception are greeting cards and postcards which are reproductions of my original work, and are printed by me in my studio.
What kind of pen should I use for my book?

The weight and light tooth of the page paper makes it suitable for pencil and ink. Sharpies are discouraged - their acidic chemicals shorten the life of your book, and they often seep through paper.

A regular ballpoint pen is okay in a pinch, however I recommend an archival / ph neutral pen (Micron or Faber-Castell are two great and readily available brands). The inks in these pens are meant to last. They write softly and do not create indents in the pages like ballpoint. You can find many color choices at your local crafts or art supply store, or online.

For black pages, I recommend gel pens or white charcoal.
