4.5 out of 5 starsLooks great! Fits my belt snug. Tool stays in place but comes out easily when I want it to.
Dinged it a star because it can get stuck when you put it in wrong. Requiring me to take my belt off to fix it, since the off and on (of the scabbard itself) is difficult with a thick belt. The tool retention should have a tactile click when properly seated, and it doesn't. But it seems secure enough. It could use a bit more tool exposure, to help insure the grip when removing it, but instead presents little for arthritic fingers to grab onto. After that, it's all good. I love how it doesn't slide around on my belt, between two belt loops like the others have. The small profile is excellent too! This thing practically disappears on my belt, goes totally unnoticed by my fat overhang, never even feel it, but it's exactly where I need it.
I didn't know there is a little clip inside of this that holds the leatherman in place and was a little skeptical about it, but decided to get it because of all the good reviews. That clip makes all the difference. This thing is great, and worlds better than the belt pouch that came in the package with my sidekick.
Ever since I saw Adam Savage's folded aluminum leatherman holster I have wanted something similar. Since I don't have access to fully equipped metal shop or the skill to know how to use it I started google searching for something similar. This product took the basic idea, but instead of looking like something made in a single day of shop tinkering is a high quality professional design. My original one lived on my belt for quite some time and my leatherman never once slipped out of the holster of it's own accord. Sadly I took it off my belt on a jobsite and lost both the leatherman and the sheath. As soon as I replaced the leatherman I immediately placed an order for a replacement sheath and I am happy to have it on my belt again.
