Description

Pure natural soap made with skin loving oils and fresh Goats Milk. Rich, creamy lather with no added fragrances or colors. Made with a very low temperature cold process method. This soap is perfect for those who have sensitive skin or allergies to the detergents added to commercial soap.

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Lard, Vegetable Shortening, Almond Oil, Sunflower Oil, Castor Oil, Goats Milk, Sodium Hydroxide, Aloe Vera Juice

Bars are approximately 5 ounces and shrink wrapped for protection. These are hand-made in small batches, cut by hand, so slight variations in bar size are normal. The bars are a light ivory to light tan color due to the reaction of the ingredients during the saponification process so each bar is different and unique. The price for these bars is lower than my price for my standard bars, because the higher cost ingredients (fragrance and colorants) are not included. I have noticed that most soaps that are for people with sensitivities to color and fragrance are a higher cost than the regular soaps. It costs me less to make these and I believe in passing that savings on to my customers!

Allergen information: My soaps are made with nut oils, milks, butters, purees and ground grains. All soaps are molded, cut and cured on equipment that has been in contact with the nut oils, milks, butters. purees and ground grains. Check the ingredients carefully, they are posted on each listing.

If you are a local customer (Metter, Stillmore, Twin City, Swainsboro, Vidalia) and would like to pick up your items, send me a convo when you order. I will make arrangements for pickup and refund your shipping charges. Communication is key, we will exchange phone numbers to keep in touch.

These soaps are for external bath use only, If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Handmade soaps last longer if kept dry, place on a stand that allows water to drain off. Don't let it sit in water or it will melt away faster.

Please note: Just because Sodium Hydroxide (lye) is not listed in the ingredients (of commercial bar soap) does not mean it's not used, During the saponification process lye (sodium hydroxide) converts the oils to fatty acid salts (hence all of the "sodium **" prefaced oils listed are the final result of the process. Ex. Sodium Tallowate = Tallow + Lye). No lye remains in the final product, it is all used by the saponification process to convert the oils to soap. Some manufacturers choose to list the ingredients by the final result instead of listing them as the individual raw ingredients that were added at the beginning of the process. I list my handmade soaps with raw beginning ingredients. With no lye, there is no soap.

FAQs

Most of my fragrances are synthetic in my soaps. They are bath and body safe. Due to the nature of soap (cleansing) it stays on your body for a very short time then goes down the drain with the dirt. Essential oils are very therapeutic and I advocate their use 100%, however, to receive the benefits of essential oils they have to remain on your skin for a period of time which does not happen when washing. Essential oils are very precious and I do not waste them on washing. Soaks, salts and bath bombs on the other hand allow the essential oils to penetrate the skin layers and provide therapeutic benefits, I use essential oils and essential oil and fragrance oil blends for my bath bombs. You can request essential oils only if you wish.
I make a soap that has no fragrance or colorant (micas, dyes, oxides, or aquamarines). It uses the same recipe as all of my soaps, without any extra additives. Bath Bombs can be custom made and natural essential oils can be used in place of fragrance oils. Essential Oil availability varies so please contact me in advance of an order to see what I have on hand.
Sodium Hydroxide is Lye or caustic soda and it is a necessary ingredient in true soap. It is the catalyst for the chemical reaction called saponification which transforms fats and oils into soap.

Please note: Just because Sodium Hydroxide (lye) is not listed in the ingredients does not mean it's not used, During the saponification process lye (sodium hydroxide) converts the oils to salts (hence all of the "sodium **" prefaced oils listed are the final result of the process).
