About the coin: Minted between 1892 and 1916, and designed by United States Bureau of Mint Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber, the Barber Silver Quarter is one of the most desired U.S. coins. It is composed of 90% silver.

About the ring: the Barber Silver Quarter ring is a beautiful collector's item. It is forged from a high detailed coin which will certainly attract attention. A proprietary patina can be applied with the lettering with the images carefully polished or the natural finish can be buffed to a high luster. A scratch resistant sealant is also applied, which will keep the patina intact for a long time. Please indicate in the comments section whether you'd like the date side out or in.

If you choose the natural finish or a partial patina, which will highlight only the letters and features, the cost will be $50, Full patina is $65 and colors are $70. Lifetime re-sizing and re-finishing are included in the price. These rings make a bold statement, they are a wonderful gift and a worthy addition to a family heirloom collection.

International shipping is available, costs will be determined by destination. Please leave any questions in the comments section. Thank you.

About the silver: silver comes from dying stars, in the cataclysmic supernova explosions that sometimes marked their final demise. This is the only place where temperatures get hot enough to fuse hydrogen nuclei together to form larger atoms. Since all of earths silver was created in the explosions of supernovae, when you wear a ring made from silver, you are wearing stardust!
