Beautiful vintage porcelain china set of two coffe cups with saucers, by MZ Czechoslovakia in Altrohlau Porcelain Factories. Porcelain mark on the bottom of each piece, a crowned eagle and initials MZ Czechoslovakia - stands for MORITZ ZDEKAUER - Porcelain Manufactory in Stará Role (Altrohlau) Czechoslovakia since 1810** This brand mark has been used between 1945 till the 1970s. Delicate hand painting, gold rims. The china is in excellent condition without damages, no gold rubbing - unused.

SIZE: cups are 3" tall and 3" wide / 7 x 7 cm
saucers 5 1/2" in diameter / 13,5 cm

**The porcelain factory in Stará Role (Altrohlau) Czechoslovakia, near Karlovy Vary was founded in 1810. In 1909 the factory was taken over by the German porcelain concern C. M. Hutschenreuter. The German concern utilised market awareness of the production brand marked with initials "MZ“. After World War II, in October 1945, the porcelain factory was nationalised and the brand marked with a crowned eagle and initials MZ has been used until the 1970s.
