Handmade

Set of nine greeting cards, one of each painting. These are blank white greeting cards, with prints of my original silk paintings.

5.75 inches square with envelope.

*About silk painting*
I paint using the serti silk painting technique: I use a resist to draw lines, separating the colors of dye and preserving the white of the silk underneath, then I mix the shades that I want and apply silk dyes with a brush. Then the piece is steamed to set the colors, washed and ironed, and it's ready to go. Each one is different, and silk painting is very unforgiving, you can't erase, so there may be small imperfections. It's part of the character of handmade work.

I love the alter cloth with my new tarot deck. It is very gorgeous and it came quickly in time for the Harvest Moon cleansing. I can't wait for future readings on here and I can tell the cloth was made from love. Just a little warning though that the color on the original photo is a little off but other than that I would recommend it!!

This stunning piece looks like a real ethereal moth, and is one of the most beautiful and special things I have bought on Etsy! It is very special to me and two real moths appeared in my bedroom the first night I took it out. Pretty magical! This cloth truly is magnificent and took my breath away when I first saw it in person. The color combo and the wings evoke the spirit of a beautiful translucent moth -graceful, delicate and a visitor across the veil of space and time. I think what caught my eye about Cheryl's work is that her animals look real and the color is exceptional to every handmade creation. This particular one is simply lovely and perfect for my tarot and altar. The color is spot on and the moth totem is just wonderful. Thank you Cheryl!
