This original tipped-in illustration is nearly 100 years old. It has been removed from the 5th impression (1919) of the 1908 1st edition "Midsummer night's Dream" by William Shakespeare, published by William Heinemann, New York, and illlustrated by Arthur Rackham. The original book alas was not in a good condition, with a missing spine. However, the prints are well worth saving.

Rackham (19 September 1867 – 6 September 1939) was an English book illustrator, and his beautiful pictures of fairies are especially popular today. This print measures 17cms x 13 cms, and is still tipped in onto it's original buff stock card page . The actual mount shows signs of its great age, but the print is in good condition. It comes with the protective tissue overlay from the original book, with the title of the picture on.

The print is unframed and will be shipped to you by Royal Mail tracked in a board backed envelope.
