Description

I am smitten with portrait painting! Matisse and his excellent portraits of fashionable women, inspire me to paint creatively and with lots of color!

"Inira" is a 5 x 7 inch acrylic painting on Ampersand gessobord panel. I love painting women, and their beautiful faces, and this year I am learning to paint portraits with a variety of skin tones. I love her look of strength and confidence, her colorful headband, the design of her clothing, her beautiful glowing skin. I hope you love my painting as much as I loved painting her. Inira - means "to sing" in the Kikuyu language, of the people of Kenya.

This listing is for one painting. Easel is not included, but shown for display purposes only.

There is a light wax finish on top of the painting, to protect the paint. It is ready to be lovingly wrapped and shipped off to your home (or as a gift for a friend!) and put in a frame of your choice.

Please see my shipping policies.

Thank you so much for looking at my art! For more art, and art auctions, please see my Daily Paintworks Gallery http://www.dailypaintworks.com/Artists/roberta-schmidt-1644

I have another Etsy shop!!! ArtcyLucy Vintage just opened up shop! https://www.etsy.com/shop/ArtcyLucyVintage
There you will find a cool mix of vintage items and my collage and assemblage art too!
