This a neat and unique item - it's a genuine piece of fossilized shell from a Sauropod dinosaur egg. THE ACTUAL PIECE OF SHELL YOU RECEIVE WILL NOT BE THE ONE IN THE PICTURE, BUT A SIMILAR PIECE. These pieces measure approximately 3/4 inch to 1 inch in length. Sauropods were the enormous long-necked dinosaurs that lived 188-65 million years ago. Included with the fossil is a nice color informational label. It's interesting to notice how much thicker the sauropod eggshell is than the Oviraptor and Hadrosaur shell. This item would be neat to have in your collection!

We offer a variety of dinosaur fossils in our store so be sure to check out our other items!
