I handcrafted the wide, heavily hammered band for this lovely garnet ring. I think the setting and the pretty oval cabochon gives this piece a slightly medieval feel. A perfect giftfor a January birthday or as friendship, promise, engagement or wedding ring.
Deep red garnets are January’s birthstone and are said to protect from evil and release bad karma.
This would be a perfect gift — maybe a promise ring. Would also work as a wedding ring!
The ring is size 5 ½ and the band is just over ¼ inch wide. The cabochon measures 6mm X 4mm

These earrings are fabulous, beautifully made and the stones are perfect, the picture doesn't do them justice. The delivery was startlingly quick and the packaging befitting to the lovely pieces. Thank you Dixie.
