Knit your own cuddly arachnid from this PDF knitting pattern of my original design. This spider is cuddly cute and friendly and quick to knit. Child friendly as there are no wires in those spider legs, it's all done through the magic of knitting.

My first published knitting pattern, tested by my Mom and a friend. The pattern has been updated since then, but only for a change of layout and photos, the pattern itself has stood the test of time.

FINISHED SIZE: Body - 5" x 3 1/2" x 2", including the legs, diameter is 8"

Brilliant pattern very quick and easy to knit and sew together. I made a total of 14, in different colours. A family of spiders!

Amazing! A wonderful pattern thats is easily worked if you have knitted socks before. Mine came out just like the picture! The only tricky bit was the teeth as they are small and tricky. Could not reccommend more. Knitted this as a birthday present and I want to keep it for myself!

One of the best knitted toy patterns ever! While a bit tricky in some of the tighter spots, the pattern is well written and easy to follow, great construction techniques. I like that it's knit pretty much "in one piece" with no seams, should be more durable in a child's hands (I did the legs in the round with conditional cast-on rather than as written to avoid seams and it worked very well). Perfect for the yarn left over from the blanket.
