*Note
For the stitched weave and zig zag overlay weave, there are similar tutorials by other teachers, however, those tutorials use a different method of achieving the same look. The weaves in this lesson are created by integrating the patterns into weave as you create the base weave. The other methods of achieving this look are done by adding an extra wire or two after creating the base weave (sort of like embroidering onto an existing woven piece). By integrating the pattern into the base weave using the same weaving wire, you are able to get a neater, cleaner look, as well as having fewer wire ends to hide inside the finished project.


If you are using a mobile device, you will need to use the web browser instead of the Etsy app to download this file. Etsy hasn't added support for digital downloads to the app yet.

This is the first time I have used one of these multi-weave tutorials and oh-my-goodness, it is FANTASTIC! I feel like I have so many weaves in my arsenal now, and I am looking forward to buying another one of these from your shop. My only suggestion (and it’s small—and might only be my weirdness) would be to maybe put an arrow on (or next to?) the active, blue weaving-wire step—I keep forgetting on one step which way I am supposed to be wrapping the wire (I imagine after writing this I will remember!
