Cosplay DIY Prop Basic Dog Armour Costume Pattern Template for EVA Foam - Small dog size

You are buying a digital download "Basic Dog Armour Template"

Check out a short video at

This is a template/pattern with guide to those makers who have
some experience in cosplay and prop making in EVA foam or similar materials.

This is designed as a prop for photographs or video and
not as a piece to be left on the dog unattended.

We recommend this armour be fitted on dogs
that love being handled and groomed and who don’t mind being fused over. If your dog does not have the nature to
sit still and be handled, it may not be for you.

This template was designed and modelled on our cross Papillion/Maltese who would be classed as a small dog - as
far as dog clothing goes. She weighs around the 5kg(11lbs) mark and is about 50cm(20in)long from her head to base
of her tail.

As all dogs are of different sizes you may have to scale up or down the print to suit your own much loved pooch.

This template and build guide are intended to take the maker to the "build" stage only. From this stage onward there
are endless variations of painting, weathering and alteration techniques that will vary the look and feel of your
individual piece.

This was great! I used 2mm foam since I couldn’t find 6mm, but it still turned out great. My dog is 30lbs, so I enlarged pattern and add length to chest strap.

Thank you for posting a picture. Great work, I love seeing peoples creativity and your dog being so proud.

I’m very happy with the pattern, I will post pics once costume is finished. 🥰 Edit, this costume was very easy to make. I completed it in about 6 hours. It turned out to be to small for my 18lb yorkie, but he is much larger than an average Yorkie. It would fit great on a 10-15lb dog.

Looks great, what a great job. You can also scale the pattern up for larger dogs.

This was my first attempt ever to make a costume (it was for a dog Halloween party) and this template and instructions made me feel like a pro. I followed the instructions step by step and the results were a perfectly fitted costume.

Directions were super easy to follow. I scaled up the pattern pieces to 130% to fit our Welsh Terriers - who looked great at a costume contest. Would be happy to share a photo in the review (if I knew how)
