This pre-shrunk, 100% cotton T-Shirt depicts my original airbrush painting of Royal Air Force Flight Sergeant George "Grumpy" Unwin's Supermarine Spitfire Mk1B fighter plane from World War II.

The "B" model was an experiment. Replacing the two inner .303 machine guns in the wings with 20mm cannon for a greater knock-out punch, many pilots found them unreliable, but Unwin had great success with them.

Unwin flew this aircraft in the Battle of Britain, with No. 12 Group out of Duxford, England throughout the late summer of 1940. By the end of the year he was almost a triple ace, with 14 victories over the Nazis.
*All printed shirts are machine washable but should be washed and dried inside out to preserve the image.
