Description

This listing is for the beautiful 7-7.5 inch Fibromyalgia/CFS Awareness and Support Gemstone bracelet as seen in the photographs.

Fibromyalgia and CFS (also known as ME) both share many of the same symptoms, including migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, sleep disturbances, fatigue, depression, anxiety and stress. Other symptoms are tenderness of joints, muscles, tendons and soft tissue and finally overwhelming chronic pain.

Chronic pain negatively impacts all aspects of an individual's life, including emotional, vocational, financial and social elements. The entire family may be dramatically affected, and many feel isolated because they can no longer work or must drop out of their normal activities, thus further isolating themselves from friends and family.
Sleep deprivation is also a common symptom, as are depression or migraine headaches.
Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and a host of other chronic illnesses zap your vitality and your life force and energy, which in turn makes you less able to fight the symptoms.

Although the root cause of these conditions can be impossible to treat, the symptoms themselves can be addressed by conventional medicine, and your GP should always be your first port of call.

Our Ancestors believed that various conditions can be affected by the use of appropriate gemstones, and full details about the properties of these stones is available on request.

The Gemstones I have used in this bracelet are:
Amethyst
Rose Quartz
Aventurine
Lapis Lazuli

A last boost of Reiki Energy, and this bracelet will be on its way to you, along with a personalised information card detailing the stones used, and a leaflet describing the use of Gemstones.

Unlike some unscrupulous or often uninformed sellers, I will never use synthetic or imitation gemstones in my jewellery. Consequently, I am sometimes unable to source specific genuine gemstones (eg Malachite) at a price that will not impact greatly on the cost of your item. In these cases, rather than use synthetic or imitation stones, I use alternatives with similar properties.
Occasionally, a few very pale gemstones are colour enhanced, which does not affect their meanings and properties.
You can be assured that you will be receiving the genuine article!

If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, please consult your doctor, dentist or hospital immediately.

Returns and exchange details

EXCHANGES
As all items are made to order when you purchase them, exchanges aren’t possible as I have no ready made items to exchange!
If you wish to change details of your order before it has shipped, then this can sometimes be arranged if the item is not finished. You will need to contact me as soon as you can to discuss this.
However if you wish to make changes once the item has been shipped, perhaps because you have made a mistake with the colour, size etc, we can discuss returning and repurchasing the correct item. Any items must be returned in line with the policy outlined below, and can incur a restocking fee. You will be responsible for both the original shipping costs of the item, as well as the return shipping,

RETURNS & REFUNDS

DAMAGED OR LOST ITEMS
If your order has been damaged in transit, or if it is faulty, please get in touch immediately on receipt. We can then discuss any issues, and arrange a solution that satisfies both of us.
If your item does not arrive within the expected time, please contact me, so that we can discuss our options, look into its disappearance and/or file an insurance claim. Fortunately, it is rare that packages completely disappear, and they do usually arrive sooner or (frustratingly) later!

"I’VE CHANGED MY MIND..."
In the event that you simply change your mind, I will refund the cost of the returned, unused and unworn item, in its original condition, even if it has been custom made.
Usually custom made items are exempt from distance selling laws, so my decision to accept these returns is above legal requirements.
However, in view of this I will refund only the item cost, excluding the original postage charges, and with the buyer required to provide proof of posting and fund postage costs for this return.
Additionally, custom made items that cannot be resold will have to be broken back down into the original components so that I can reuse some of the materials. This means that my time and working hours originally creating the item will have been wasted, so in these cases your refund will be reduced to take this into account.
In situations where the item has suffered any loss in value after it left me (eg it got damaged or dirty when you opened it etc) then the buyer will be considered responsible for this, and any refund will be adjusted.

Please note that ALL returns must be agreed upon before you ship the item back to me, and proof of shipping must be obtained. Once the returned item has been safely received, I will initiate a refund which Etsy will process using your original payment method.
If we have not made a prior arrangement, or if you refuse to accept the delivery, it is considered a 'forced return' which is not permitted by Etsy, and will be dealt with accordingly.

My aim is to keep my customers happy, and I strive to maintain this status with every single order.
Happy Customer = Happy Seller!

Shipping policies

Please note, all items are hand crafted and custom made at time of ordering so are not ready to ship. I make each item myself, with care and attention to detail to give you the best customer experience possible.
This means that during busy times, my jewellery can take between 10 - 15 WORKING days before it is ready to post to you, although it can often be sooner depending on the individual order. If there is likely to be any further delay, I will contact you immediately.

Each item is usually presented in an organza bag, individually packaged in cellophane, with an accompanying information card, and beautifully wrapped in tissue and ribbons, making an ideal gift.
This item is then parcelled in a padded Jiffy bag for additional protection during transit.

Free domestic shipping reflects that each package is sent 2nd class.
Overseas orders are sent as standard international large letters.
For multiple items, the highest postage charge will apply, with other items charged at the additional rate in the listings.

Please note that the Buyer is responsible for any customs charges or import duties.

Additional policies

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any queries about any of my listings or for custom orders.
I really do want you to be happy with your order... so please tell me if there are any problems so that I can have chance to sort things out!
Otherwise, please recommend me to a friend
(The best recommendation is wearing an item of my jewellery...win-win for both of us!)

Thank you for taking the time to read about my shop.

FAQs

There is often confusion between processing/shipping times, which can be frustrating if you are expecting an item to arrive by a parcticular date, then discover that it won’t be there!
Each order comprises both a processing time, which is how long it takes for me to create your item, and a shipping time, which is the time that postal carriers will need to get the completed item from me to you.
If you need an item by a certain date, please contact me before ordering, so that I can check whether it would be possible.
Please note, even if it is possible for me to make your iiem by the required date, I have no control over the actual shipping time, so please bear this in mind.
The processing time can vary, and depends on diverse factors, such as the volume of orders I already have, and the level of stock of raw materials.
Customers can be surprised that their one item can take over a week or so for me to create. Although I do my best to create your item as quickly as I can, especially with time sensitive items such as IVF transfer bracelets etc, I usually have other orders already in the queue that need to be created first.
I try to ensure that I have the necessary materials on hand to create all items, however it particular gemstone etc can unexpectedly run out, which will mean I need to replenish before I can make.
The shipping time is how long your order will take in the postal system. I do not have any control over this, and it will depend on your location.
UK orders are sent second class with no postage costs to you. According to Royal Mail, most items are delivered within 3 WORKING days. If you wish to purchase an upgrade to UK first class/tracked shipping, please contact me.
International orders are sent as standard, and do not routinely include tracking, as this is considerably more expensive. You can purchase a shipping upgrade to include tracking should you wish.
Delivery times will vary according to your location, customs etc, but once shipped I would expect most orders to arrive within 10 to 15 WORKING days (2-3 weeks).
Jewellery should never be worn for sleeping orsports activities, additionally it is never advisable to wear jewellery when bathing, swimming or showering, as exposure to water, chlorine,
household cleaners, soaps, shampoos, perfumes or any form of liquid can tarnish jewellery, as well as causing damage to the components resulting in breakage.
Elasticated items are particularly vulnerable, and WILL break if overstretched or pulled.
Care should be taken when putting jewellery on or taking it off, as even a gentle tugs could weaken your item, leading to breakages later on.
As with all bracelets, the risk of accidental breakage is ever present especially if worn on your dominant hand. You can minimise this risk by ensuring that when you remove clothing, particularly anything with long sleeves such as coats or cardigans, there is no part of the bracelet caught on the sleeve. Danger points are likely to be charms or clasps. A sharp tug WILL cause breakage, probably at the weakest link,(if it didn’t, it could cause injury!) so take care during any activity that could catch your bracelet e.g. housework.
Similarly, necklaces are also at risk when removing clothing, especially with items that are taken off over the head. Also, please take care when brushing/washing your hair, as chains can easily catch and break.
Sterling Silver WILL tarnish (turn black), it is a natural process called oxidisation, and does not mean that your item is not Sterling silver! It can easily be polished gently with a soft cloth, or special jewellery cleaner. Special care is needed when wearing Sterling Silver. It is a very soft metal, and consequently can be extremely fragile and delicate, needing gentle handling. This is why Sterling silver is often plated onto a slightly more durable metal, to strengthen it.
The main issue with Silver Plate is that ultimately it WILL wear away. However, you can extend the life of your silver plate by removing your jewellery for sleeping, showering etc, as sweat, shampoos and various chemicals will hasten the effect.
