Description

I bought a small collection of buttons several years ago. There were a group of The Hands Work ceramic porcelain button cards included in the collection. They are really quite infectious. The cards the buttons are sewn on are as charming as the button itself. I hate when I find a The Hands Work buttons off the card; they belong together. I have a few of the cards left. I know there are collectors for these. The Hands Work made buttons 1978-1991. I believe this one is late 1980s-early1990s, but I can't be certain of that. I would love to see a book with all the different design the couple made.

The pictures pretty much tell the story. This is the largest The Hands Work buttons that I have seen and the card announces that it is "A Gigantic Button." It is a lovely shade of dark blue. The button is an NBS large, measuring 1 & 3/4" (4.5cm) in diameter. The card measures 4 & 3/4" (12.1cm) by 3 & 3/8" (7.7cm).

Both card and button are in very good condition. I see no flaws to mention. Truest color is seen in the second picture. A great button collectible.

As always, combined shipping is available,
