Description

Uniquely designed beaded cognac and butterscotch Baltic amber 15" necklace with pendant. Pendant has fossilized moss and a core of butterscotch. Between each four-sided teardrop shaped cognac bead is an oval butterscotch bead. Totally unusual look and superior craftsmanship. Unlike any other amber necklace on the market.

Although considered a gem, amber is a wholly-organic material derived from the resin of extinct species of trees. In the Middle Cretaceous and Tertiary periods, between 10 and 100 million years ago, these trees fell and were carried by rivers to coastal regions. There, the trees and their resins became covered with sediment and over millions of years the resin hardened into amber.

Some people believe that amber draws out and transmutes negative energy of all kinds on all levels. Amber aids in physical self-healing, emotional healing of depression and environmental clearing. They say that amber can help with laryngitis and goiter.

That notwithstanding, here is a beautiful necklace made of one of the most rare and sought after materials in the world. Don't miss out on this opportunity to wear a part of history.
