Description

925 sterling Silver Owl Pendant. The Owl representing the symbol of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and foresight. Ancient Greeks believed that Athena appeared among people in the form of an owl. The all-watching and all-knowing owl became the embodiment of the creative wisdom sent to humankind. This symbol was used on Greek coins since 5th century BC and, therefore, also became associated with wealth. Today the owl is on the Greek 1 € coin.

The owl in Greek culture symbolizes intelligence, mystery, mysticism, intuition, inner-knowing and foresight.
The blue eyes of the Owl protect you from the evil eye.

Designed in Athens by Vera Pappas

Made in Hellas-Greece
