This sampler is one of my very first designs, from back in the days of doodles on graph paper, when most of the design process took place as I stitched. I was stitching to sell the finished product, not even dreaming that one day someone would want to buy the pattern.

My inspiration came from a sampler dated 1831 with a trio of flower bouquets that at the time I found quite captivating. I created my own trio in the same style, but changed them enough that I could call them my own. I then followed the standard sampler recipe by adding a few alphabets, and an old sampler quote.

I stitched the model on vintage fabric. The stitch count is 118 by 139.

The pattern comes with a fully detailed & professional thread chart, a color photograph, and my recommendations for floss and finishing of the sampler. It will come enclosed in a plastic zip-close envelope for safe keeping.
