"It all started when I was sitting on the riverbank with Dinah."

So remarked Alice as she recalled the beginning of her strange and phantasmagorical adventure in Wonderland. This illustration depicts in a cross section the way Alice followed the White Rabbit into the earthy entrance, including the dark tunnel passageway, the menacing roots, and the crude futile drop that leads to odd glowing mushrooms and the renowned gateway door. Here, Alice is shown as a mature girl, managing to just grasp the foot of the White Rabbit, who is frantically trying to shake off the advance. The bleak color or the Tree serves as a harbinger, to affirm a strange and mystical aura surrounding the area. Dinah is drawn as a calico who sits above-ground, waiting for the return of her owner.

It was drawn with Micron Pen on bristol board and colored on Photoshop CS3. It is printed on a 15-point thick cardstock with a satin matte finish, which holds well over time and retains the sharpness of the colors. The particular one bought will be numbered and signed by me, the illustrator.

This illustration can also be matted and/or framed by request, in which there will be an additional fee.

Shipping of the print only will be in a reinforced bubble-lined envelope via first class mail, always with utmost care!
