Description

"Tapir"

20% of profits are donated to The World Wildlife Fund!

Hand screen-printed t-shirt featuring a Tapir.
Printed on a high quality white wide neck flowy fit long sleeve t-shirt from Bella Canvas.
The long sleeves are 2x1 rib knit for a fitted, yet comfortable look!
Printed with long-lasting black plastisol ink.

Like the pudu (another animal t-shirt in my shop), I saw my first Tapir here at the Seattle zoo. I had no idea such an animal existed, and I wanted to share this knowledge with others!

"The four species that have been evaluated (the Brazilian, Malayan, Baird's and mountain tapir) are all classified as endangered or vulnerable."

Maybe wearing this shirt will draw more attention to this awesome animal?

Shirt Content: 65% poly 35% viscose,

*Model is 5' 3" and wearing a size S

FAQs

Please contact me directly for questions regarding wholesale availability. We would love to have our items sold and carried by other retailers!
Being able to offer products that are created ethically is very important to us. For that reason, we print on t-shirts from Bella Canvas. Bella Canvas is WRAP certified, meaning that they have been recognized by a 3rd party body whose mission is to "promote ethical, humane and lawful conditions and practices in all manufacturing facilities". Bella Canvas tees are also incredibly soft!
Yes. I work with a local shop here in Seattle to print my t-shirts. The reason is that my shirts are printed with plastisol, (as opposed to water-based ink) a longer lasting ink which requires chemicals to clean the screens after printing. I wanted to work with a shop to ensure that these chemicals are handled safely and disposed of properly.
If you purchase our "Pudu" or "Tapir" tee, we will donate 20% of profits to the World Wildlife Fund. Also, for every purchase of a "Save the Bees" tee, we will donate 20% of profits to The Honey Bee Conservancy. Starting in 2019, we will donate 20% of profits from our "See You Never" sweatshirt to Pretty Brainy. These donations are made at the end of the year (in a lump sum).
We are no longer using plastic packaging! The environment is something we feel very passionate about, and we no longer want to be part of the problem. We will now be using 100% recycled, non bleached wrapping paper and bio-degradable cellulose tape along with our paper mailers. We are constantly assessing our packaging to ensure that we are making responsible choices.
