Description

Startled Hare

This fine hare has a wonderful expression on his face, slightly aloof in a very aristocratic way.

I live in rural Herfordshire and love nature and especially animals. I have a passion for anthropomorphism ( although I struggle to say the word), for those who are not too sure what this means it"s definition "animals with human characteristics or elements". Most of my works show quirky faces with the subject wearing costume. I believe this was quite fasionable in the Victorian era using black and white photography, especially in cats and dogs.

Each of my pictures are unique as I take prints and then watercolour each one so that although similar each one will be individual and colurs may indeed vary slightly to the picture shown. I use mixed media but favour watercolour and ink.

As you can see the pictures will be classily framed and mounted and are a pretty huge 23x19 " Most pictures are framed with a cream mount and rustic oak frame.

Please dont hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Commissions can be taken but I have a 6 month waiting list from today May 2017.

Thanks for reading and hope this means that you love my work!
