Description

This Homer Laughlin oval platter is from the "Mary Anne" pattern, which was discontinued in the late 40s/early 50s. It measures 11 3/4 inches in length and 9 5/16 inches in width. The center has a pink blossoms pattern, with a pink diamond edge and gold trim. The back is stamped with 'Homer Laughlin A 48 N 6' in green. Photo 2 shows an up close view of a white porcelain bump left in the china during the manufacturing process, and offers a view of the pink diamond edge and the gold trim as well. Photo 3 shows the back of the platter, with some of its imperfections in upper right and lower left. Photo 4 shows an up close view of the green stamp, and photo 5 shows an up close view of imperfections. Make sure to use the "view full photo" option on each picture. This platter is sold as is. (Note: some of the photos have light reflection and shading.)

Most of the china that I sell comes from estate sales. If it is cracked, chipped, or nicked then I note it both in this written section and in the photos. Sometimes china can darken or lighten in color depending on age and amount of use, and this is a normal part of vintage wear. All china is sold as is. This platter is in good vintage condition. If you wish to buy more than one piece of china, please contact me before you purchase so that I can combine shipping for you.

Since china is a heavier item, and since I wrap it in layers, shipping costs will be higher. Please be aware of this. With china, shipping could cost you twice as much as the item itself, depending on where you live.
