Asclepias Curassavica:

Perennial: USDA hardiness zones 8a-11 (lows -12.2 °C or 10 °F)
Annual for zones below 8a
Full sun to part shade
Height: 2 to 3 feet
Spacing: 1 to 2 ft

Greetings from the backwoods wonderlands of sunny Florida!! We are nestled upon five sprawling acres on Clapboard Creek, amidst The Timucuan Preserve and Pumpkin Hill. I have taken to the propagation of Milkweed plants after finding volunteers in our fields. My efforts are much in the spirit of posterity, as the numbers of Monarch butterflies have dropped dramatically in recent years. In doing so, I hope to support the cycle of these magnificent creatures, whose existence is contingent upon these Milkweed plants.

The products I offer are all from our little farm, and are completely natural, organic, and pesticide free. My four-year-old and I harvest all of these seeds from plants we grew from seeds ourselves. Milkweed, a perennial, makes for a BEAUTIFUL garden addition, is easily grown, and a hardy plant requiring little maintenance. In fact, I have had success scattering them by hand :)

We would be thankful to know that others are beautifying their gardens whilst supporting this purpose!!
