Description

Upcycled Tin Can turned adorable wind chime with 6 bells for extra luck!! This wind chime is one of a kind and a Chinese inspired design by cutting the tin can in six places, then bending the pieces up to hang the bells. Tin can is painted orange, distressed and a beautiful paisley pattern applied with decoupage. Decoupage has been triple sealed to protect from the elements. The six bells attached are antique copper with Chinese symbols engraved on them.

➳ Although it has been sealed with a waterproof sealant, I would not recommend this wind chime be placed outdoors

➳ This wind chime is 10 1/2" in total length

➳ Hung on antique copper chain with small ring at top for hanging

➳ Painted portion has been triple sealed with clear coat.

I've always had a fascination with wind chimes, probably ever since I was a small child. The subtle music it makes in the background is not only relaxing, but incredibly nostalgic.

Wind Chimes in Chinese culture, are thought to be lucky, better known as Feng Shui. Feng Shui has been used for centuries and the sound the Wind Chimes makes is thought to cleanse and clear negative energies in your home.

Not only are Wind Chimes thought to be lucky, and cleansing, but they are also thought to bring good fortune and prosperity!! Do you ever wonder why Chinese stores have that little bell in their doorway as you enter? That's the Feng Shui bringing good fortune and prosperity into their store!!

Quick Wind Chime Facts:

➳ Placing your Wind Chime at or near your front entrance is thought to attract money and wealth.

➳ Wind Chimes that has 5, 6 or 8 tubes work the best at promoting wealth

➳ 5 tubes represents Earth and attracts Chi and prosperity from five directions; North, South, East, West and Center. Also, best at suppressing bad luck

➳ 6 tubes represents Luck.

➳8 tubes represent Prosperity, Blessings and Luck
