Children just love this functional sculpture/toy; my interpretation of Robby The Robot from Forbidden Planet. This was a fun project to build, Steampunk Neo Robby has components from many different sources and objects; an old Timex wristwatch, a brass travel alarm clock, a Trouble game, tin can, pocket watches, wooden beads, transistors, toggle switches, extension springs, computer printer, disposable cameras, brass wire, antique sewing machine, remote control helium balloon, dual DC motor gearbox, copper wire, control dial from Craftsman table saw, threaded rod, solder, copper wire, batteries, black gesso, miscellaneous nuts and bolts...
