Fireflower Rya Kit 16" x 16" . Natural Grays Virgin Wool rya yarn on Wool and linen backing.

A NEW Fireflower design for you. This one is different from the others in that it is a very subtle transition from the black outer "flower" into the white (with a little yellow) heart of the "flower." There are a total of 6 shades of gray ;-) which you will blend subtly as you work up the backing. Instructions are provided and I even will start the first row of knots for you.

***Be sure to tell me if you are right or left-handed.***

Choose for me to draw the simple design on the backing for you (for an additional $15) or work from a graph. It makes a wonderful wall-hanging or a skilled needle-work person could turn it into a pillow or seat cushion, but we don't teach that part of the project.

I hem the backing in advance with a hollow hem so you can slide a small dowel in for easy hanging.

It is also available in reds, rust-browns, purples, mossy green, or blue-greens.

Unlike the other Fireflowers, the GRAYS is 100% Rauma Ryegarn (rya yarn) from Norway. In addition to the two strands of Rauma ryegarn, the kit also includes a third strand for the needle of Rauma Pyrdvevgarn--also from the same heritage breed sheep IF you choose the $150 3-strand option. If you opt for the gray 2-strand choice, you will make the rya with 2 ryegarn strands and save a little money. (It is $135.)
