Dear James, Thank you so much for your kind help in getting the exquisite bible you bound to London in time for my other half's birthday, we are both overwhelmed by your wonderful craftsmanship which you have put to such good use. We have so enjoyed the soldiers bible and pocket bible too and have already shared so much precious time reading from them all. We cannot thank you enough. God bless you

This handsomely bound 27 page pamphlet of George Whitefield's sermon speaks of and to the lukewarm pretenders and betrayers of the Christian faith. Whitefield organizes his exposition into 4 major sections: I. Defining the "Almost Christian"; II. The reasons for their prevalence; III. The spiritual ineffectualness of lukewarm Christianity; and IV. An exhortation for the striving towards altogether Christianity. We could only hope the inward working of God's Spirit would convict such individuals as they read or listen to this historical piece.

Absolutely incredible. A true tour de force regarding the coming wrath of an Almighty God upon each of the unregenerate. A Spirit-led execution by Jonathan Edwards, and a handsomely bound piece by Mr. Moore at 18thCenturyBibles. If you have not yet had the privilege of realizing our position as worms in this fallen state, this sermon will make quick work of you.
