Tomorrow Will Be Better, by Betty Smith, 1948 First Edition Hardcover Book. Pre-owned vintage book in very nice shape no writing, tears or dog ears. The book only has yellowing pages due to its age.

In 1920's Brooklyn, Margy graduates from high school with lots of optimism. Determined to rise above her upbringing, Margy gets a job hoping to escape her overbearing mother and overworked father.

She meets a boy, poor Brooklynite like herself, and the two fall headlong into courtship and marriage. Despite differences between them and difficulties in her relationship with her parents, Margy still hopes that "tomorrow will be better."
