ROMANCE - Nothing comes closer to the romantic-at-heart, than a hand picked flower, if simply from ones own yard, placed in a vintage vase, and left, "say by the coffee pot". I know, my husband does this very thing for me and I for him.

Sometimes I put just a little boxwood stem or two, with a tiny note tied on to a stem. When I have flowers in the yard I bring them in to enjoy. It doesn't take alot of time, effort, or money, to be kind.

Daffodils, Crepe Myrtle, Zinnias are great too!
Here is an idea. Lean a pack of seeds against the vase or tie a ribbon on the pack to attach it. Now that is a great idea. Zinnias will grow in concrete (well almost).

On the 4th of July I put a little American flag in one of many white vases. I have been a collecter of white/milk glass for years and years and years. I can not leave a piece behind. I mix mine with clear glass, makes such a clean and calm arrangement. Mix tall pieces with varying smaller ones. There is no way to mess up.

Measures 5 3/4 inches tall.
The base if 4 inches.

Perfect condition.
