Have you ever even seen one of these before? Truly an amazing piece of machinery from a century ago, the newest patent is for 1910. I doubt highly that this piece works. It looks like there was a place to plug it into electricity, but the cord is not present. And there is a place where a tube attaches that was talked into. Then the vibration were transferred to a wax cylinder that could be listened to, then transcribed by the secretary. It was an amazing, status defining piece, and still is today!

This piece has plenty of rust, dust, knocks and bruises to show for it's 100 years. It is heavy, thus the shipping. It measures 12.5" long, 6" deep, and 9" high. The box hinges open to reveal the motor. It looks great as is, though, and could be displayed under glass for gravitas. It would also be superb in a Steampunk home, or somehow used in your next Steampunk invention.

As always, your shipping charge will be what the post office prints on the stamp for parcel post. If I quoted high, even on multi-item purchases, I will refund you the difference back to your paypal account. If I quoted low- you've got a deal!
