Description

Brown Lava Coffee Set/Laurentian Lava Yellow and Dark Brown/1970's-- Made in Canada Ships from US

This beautifully crafted yellow and dark brown lava coffee set is full of Mid Century Charm. It was made by Laurentian Pottery in St. Jerome, Quebec, Canada in the 1970s. The Laurentian Pottery works or Poterie Laurentienne began crafting objects in 1939. Their pieces are sometimes marked LP, but these are unmarked. We found them while searching for treasures in St. Catherines, Ontario.

These three pieces are in excellent vintage condition having no cracks, chips, or crazing. There is a bit of a rough spot on the edge of the lid of the sugar bowl, but we think that is from the bubbly nature of the "lava" glazing.

This casually elegant set would look equally at home on a beautiful teak mid century modern dining room table, or al fresco on the deck of porch of your cabin or camp. These pieces meld mid century sensibilities and clean lines with natural colors and textures-- BRILLIANT!

Coffee Pot measures 10 inches tall with a top diameter of 4 inches and bottom diameter of 5 inches.
Creamer measures 5 5/8 x 4 1/8 inches.
Sugar bowl with lid measures 3 1/2 x 4 inches.
