“Transparent Heart”

This piece is from my "To the Heart of It" series. These hearts are not atomically correct, as they are artist and symbolic expressions of our emotional connection to our hearts.

The heart was sculpted out of papier maché. I then rubbed oil bar all over the entire exterior and painted black paint on the interior.
