How do I buy something on Etsy?

Can I expedite shipping?

Normally, orders will be packed and mailed within 2 business days of receiving payment. Shipping can be expedited - please contact me before purchase so I can determine the most expedient and cost effective shipping method.

Is my purchase insured?

All purchases are fully insured. According to insurance carrier stipulations, all items sold for $1000 or more are shipped with a signature required on delivery.

My item was lost/damaged in the mail. What do I do?

No worries - all purchases are fully insured. In the unlikely event that an item is damaged in shipment, please notify me immediately upon receipt of the parcel. All packaging material and damaged goods must be kept in the original form as received. Packaging and damaged goods must not be disposed of, released to the shipping carrier, or returned to me before a claim is completed. Failure to comply will result in claim denial. Photograph the damaged item and all packing materials for insurance documentation purposes - multiple photos are recommended. During the claims process, a signed claim statement/affidavit will also be required. Please note claims adjustors may ask to examine the parcel when the claim is filed.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes - my shop has shipped parcels to happy customers in dozens of countries located on 6 continents. If you don't see your country listed as a shipping destination, please contact me for a shipping quote to your location. Your country may impose duty/tax/VAT and/or parcel handling fees which are the responsibility of the buyer. Outbound and return shipping charges will not be refunded due to failure to pay VAT and/or parcel handling fees. Please be aware it is unlawful for me to falsify dollar amounts on customs forms or to mark your purchase as a "gift" in order to avoid duty charges; please refrain from asking me to do so. Please send your phone number when you place your order to expedite delivery.

I want to return my purchase. What do I do?

Buyers must contact me within 14 days to authorize a return and are responsible for all return shipping costs including insurance. Insurance for the full purchase price & parcel tracking is required. Retain insurance documentation/parcel tracking numbers for your records. Items must be received in original undamaged condition. New packaging is highly recommended to protect you against liability for damage in shipment. Refunds will be issued after the parcel has arrived & the contents have been examined for potential damage in shipment. Refunds will not be given for items that are lost/damaged in shipment. Shipping costs both ways for unclaimed parcels/change of heart returns/failure to pay VAT are not refundable & will be deducted.

This vintage sterling silver and marcasite demi-parure consists of a large 2.125" by 1.75" brooch pin and screw back earrings. The earrings and brooch have been made in the form of highly detailed maple leaves with veins and serrated edges. The surfaces of the pieces are finished with rows of faceted marcasites which sparkle and catch the light.

The brooch and earrings are in good condition and display very well. As vintage items, it should be noted that the set shows signs of age including light tarnish and slight nicks which do not detract from their appearance and are mentioned for accuracy. In addition, it should be mentioned that there is one missing marcasite on the brooch which is only evident upon close inspection. The back of the brooch is fitted with a fully functional rollover safety clasp and measures 2.125" by 1.75". The earrings are 0.75" by 0.625" and retain their original threaded screw backs which hold securely to the ear. The pieces have a combined weight of 19.9 grams and are all marked "STERLING".

This charming sterling and marcasite maple leaf demi parure would be a great addition to a vintage jewelry collection. A very pretty set!
