I adore this journal. It is the perfect paper for watercolors and fountain pens, which I use for journaling pretty exclusively. It holds all of my mediums beautifully, and the thicker weight Tomoe Paper holds extra ephemera and attached bits and stickers beautifully. It's really well constructed, but I do wish there were some sort of pocket on the back cover- so I made one out of card stock and washi tape (worked great). I love the size, and the ink test pages are wonderful! I don't use it for bullet journaling, but for regular (heart gush) journaling, and it's perfect for that purpose. I worry a bit about the spine as I bulk up the notebook with my journaling, but that will be seen in time. I'm sure I'll buy this again, even if I have to build a new spine for the signatures to be secure.

Beautiful notebook. The paper is a bit thicker than the TRP notebook (52gsm) that I use now. The end papers are gorgeous texture and color. I will definitely order another, but in the larger size notebook. TY for a great product.

Super stoked on the two notebooks I purchased from Taroko! I was bummed with the very intermittent availability of the nanami/seven seas notebooks when mine needed replacement, and hunted far and wide for anything comparable before discovering the Taroko stuff, and ordered two of them (breeze and enigma) on the spot. Shipped super quickly, and upon opening up the package and inspecting the notebooks, I was very impressed with the quality and design. Very well bound and zero irregularities with any of the pages/binding/etc. (Occasional wrinkling/irregularity seems to be a common/expected thing with most notebooks made with Tomoe River paper which have a huge number of pages, but I couldn’t find a single issue with either of the ones from Taroko)! And the execution of the dot/grid, page numbers, etc. Is perfect.
