Description

Greetings, and thank you for visiting my page. I am Vince Ornato, an artist from Pittsburgh. Your family and friends will enjoy a slice of Pittsburgh's history with this archival quality giclee print, on fine art paper, of my oil painting, "The Smithfield Street Bridge." Built in 1881, this great bridge is the oldest one among Pittsburgh's array of 400-plus bridges. The print will last generations without fading, yellowing or discoloring in any way. Typically, I sell this piece in art shows and galleries for up to $55.00. I am starting my Etsy site, and interested in traffic, REVIEWS and, new customers in hopes of creating new avenues for my work. Each print is signed by me, and is sized to frame and mat at 8x10.

As a native of Pittsburgh, and former ironworker, I was on dozens of construction jobs and inside lots of factories. I remember the smells, the sweat, the noise and yes, the back aches. I see my art as a tribute to the workers and families who built Pittsburgh, the tri-state area of Western PA and America. Pittsburgh is the city that built the world!

You will find film clips of me, under my name, on YouTube. Please "Like" my Facebook page, "Pittsburgh Paintings and Prints." You can also watch my Bethel Park TV show on YouTube, entitled, "The Creative Process with Vince Ornato." Please "Share" the information about my art work, and all reviews are appreciated.
