Description

Watercolor painting of a wolf calling his pack. Wolves call others for many reasons one of them being to call to assemble. They are very social animals. Their communication strengthens the social bonds but wolf language is more complex than that. They like to express themselves. Wolf talk is both about the community as well as individual expression. Let your wolf spirit howl at times! I like to use some iridescent colors to highlight some lines and add a little more magic to the image.

I painted using Daniel Smith Extra Fine watercolor paint which is one of the highest quality watercolor paints out there with some Daniel Smith Extra Fine iridescent paint to highlight some areas subtly. It is painted on Nujabi watercolor paper made of cotton, which is an extra heavy handmade paper with a beautiful texture. Nujiabi paper is made in India and has more than a thousand year tradition behind it.

For shipping the painting is protected with glassine paper, which is archival and acid free, and packaged with great care to make sure it will arrive in perfect condition.

Framing and matting are available. If you would like that option, please contact me.

The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Free shipping in the U.S.
