A pretty buttery gold colour dress in a textured cotton waffle weave, with shimmering gold thread running throughout - this sparkles when it catches the light! Late 50s early 60s with a wiggle shape. A fairly square neckline to the front and a v shape to the back, zip midway down the back, kick pleat to the back of the skirt.
The dress looks to be handmade and is unlined. I would say it's a UK 12 to 14.

Chest: 37" with some extra room out front with the pleats
Waist: 33" snug
Hips: 40"
Length from top of shoulder to hem: 40.5"

Condition: Fair.
- A fairly well worn dress it has an overall fluffiness to the fabric with pulls here and there.
- A slightly grubby mark on the back of the skirt (pictured)
- Rather messily sewn, but this is mostly noticeable on the inside - kick pleat is a bit messy (last picture)
- Belt loops but no belt.
Priced to reflect this.

I will always state any noticeable marks/wear/holes I spot on any of the items. In the rare case that I've made a significant error in a listing, I will of course make an exception to the refund policy. Please contact me within 2 days of receiving the item if this is the case - thank you.

Shipping policies

UK -

Most items sent within the UK are posted by Royal Mail signed for 1st class. Some handmade items may be sent regular 1st class, and if something is particularly bulky or heavy it may go myhermes but this will be stated in the listing.

Most items are sent by the Royal Mail International tracked service. Bulkier items may go parcelforce.

*I ship to most places, if you don't see your location available just send me a message and I'll see what I can do - thank you*

Before posting I like to make sure the vintage items are looking their best, with a final steam and folded with care in tissue paper. Then either into a mailing bag or box and on their way to your door!

I am happy to combine postage for more than one item if I can, just send me a message :)

Additional policies

All the vintage items listed have been previously owned and loved, and many are between 25 and 80+ years old. Understandably, they will have some signs of wear. I try and list items as best I can – any noticeable marks/holes etc will be noted.
I personally love that vintage clothes have these stories in their fabric – a sign that they've been adored :)

Please note I do have a dog at home, but all vintage is stored away.
