If you wish insurance, please request. I cannot be responsible for losses in the mail but I will always try to assist with proof of receipt. I will send you a tracking number (except out of US, which you must request BEFORE the package is sent.)

I'm proud of the standard of my work so hope refunds would never be necessary. But if you are not happy, the item must be returned in perfect new condition, with original packaging, within two weeks of original shipment, and a refund will be given for the cost of the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. The buyer is responsible for the cost of return postage. Please note, also, that refunds for items purchased but not yet shipped are subject to a 5% restock fee.

Returns: If you want to return a basket, please let me know as soon as possible, as i have other brides seeking "ready to ship" baskets daily, my custom weaving schedule is fairly full and it is difficult for me to keep up with the limited amount of weaving time i have.

All returned items require authorization!

If you cancel an order and the package hasn't been shipped, or if you return an item, the refund you will receive will be the amount you paid for the items minus 5%. This covers the non-refundable fees PayPal charges us whether the package is shipped or not, and a restocking fee.

I am concerned about our environment, and use recycled packaging whenever possible. Baskets need to breathe. When natural (organic) materials are used, baskets are generally NOT wrapped in plastic. Expect paper wrapping, most of the time recycled, especially for vine baskets. Newspaper is what is most often accessible and makes a perfect packing material.

Baskets are lightweight, and require padding. Large boxes are sometimes required. Shippers do not like large, lightweight boxes, and thus require "balloon" upcharges.

Generally, packages are sent US Mail, unless you request otherwise...But I reserve the right to choose a carrier, and if you would like to request one, please do. The buyer is responsible for postage, so if your chosen carrier is more expensive, expect to pay that expense. Please inquire, if you are not sure. FedEx Home Delivery is often a very reasonable alternative. Please note that FedEX requires a delivery phone number, which is only given to FedEx. I will not call you. It is important to have this number in case the carrier has difficulty delivering your package.

International shipping has become very expensive. If you are outside the US, and would like a quote on shipping, please contact me and let me know which piece(s) you are interested in, and i will give a personalized quote.

RESERVE LISTINGS will be made at your request for a maximum of 5 days.

BASKETS: the areas where i usually gather my natural materials have been clear cut (logged) and so i am seeking out new areas to collect organic, natural vines. Because of this, Custom orders are running about 4 weeks. This gives me time to find the materials, prepare them, weave the item, let it dry properly, and then ship. If you need your basket faster, please use the "contact" link to send me a message BEFORE you buy. Some items can be hurried, some cannot.

Please see note below about RUSH orders. Generally, the fastest a custom basket may be delivered, from green vine, is 2 weeks. If you need a basket in less than 2 weeks, it is best to choose from my ready to ship baskets. I welcome inquiries as to whether i have a basket that is not listed, but ready to ship, i may have just what you are looking for already in the process of drying, or ready to be listed.

Please realize that there is a great deal of variation in these handcrafted items made of wild materials. I cannot control the number or character of the tendrils and roots, how many or color of leaves, or affect how the vine grows, and this is what makes it look wild. It is entirely normal for there to be slight kinks in the handle, lower areas of the rim, little places where the basket is "not round." This is part of the reason why brides who are looking for the "not cookie cutter" affect are happy to find me. Because they know, even when made with the same materials as another bride's, that their items will not be duplicates of someone else's. They are handwoven unique. The "rustic" trend in weddings brings in little wild "uncontrolled" elements into the carefully planned, beautifully sculpted and pure looking landscape and provides great contrast.

CUSTOM RUSH ORDERS:
RUSH custom orders are subject to a RUSH charge. This is a non-refundable fee that places your orders at the front of the queue. This charge is payable up front, and if you choose not to purchase the work that results from your rush order, it is NOT returned to you.

Even rush baskets still require some drying time, and paying a premium rush fee does not lessen this. If you wish to receive your finished basket inside a week, BOTH a rush fee AND expedited, premium shipping would be required, to assure the basket does not mildew in transit. Expedited shipping is at least $35 (transit company fees, not mine.) If you are west of the Mississippi river, expedited shipping will probably be over $100.

MULTIPLE ORDERS AND DISCOUNTS:
Everything you see here is made by hand, one at a time. So discounts are not given for multiple item orders.
