JUST UPDATED Beginning Beading Pattern Embellished Spiderweb Bracelet or Necklace Seed Bead tutorial instructions by Hannah Rosner
The instructions show the step by step on how to create the third photo here - the one with the light green leaves.
However, all photos use EXACTLY the same technique and the version with the pendant is now included in the tutorial.
NOW AVAILABLE AS AN INSTANT DOWNLOAD.
Learn how to create a complex looking but elegant spider web of beads. The original netting work is an eons old technique, the fringe and the embellishment is what makes it looks so fancy.
*Please note that I have been teaching this technique since 2001. The 2013 Bead & Button catalog features a necklace which is almost identical, but taught by a different artist. *
This class is level 2 out of 5. That puts it at an Advanced Beginner class. If you can thread a needle and have done any seed beading beforehand, you'll be fine! The tutorial instructions teach basic netting and an embellishment technique that makes this look much more difficult than it actually is. I love a piece that looks complex but is really simple - don't you?
This is for the tutorial/instruction packet only. Materials are not included.
